Pay:
$17/hr + commission Event Sales Coordinator Build Relationships. Bring People In. Grow Our Events & Community. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated Event Sales Coordinator to grow private events, corporate events, group bookings, and sponsorship opportunities. This role is focused on getting out into the community, building relationships, generating new business, and introducing people to our facility. The Event Sales Coordinator will also work at the front desk approximately 2 days per week to learn our systems, programs, and daily operations while gaining firsthand knowledge of the guest experience. What You'll Do Generate new business for private events, corporate events, group outings, parties, and facility rentals. Build a strong local network of businesses, organizations, schools, clubs, and community groups. Conduct outreach, follow up with leads, and turn relationships into event bookings and partnerships. Schedule and conduct facility tours for prospective clients, groups, and community partners. Invite prospective customers and organizations to experience the facility and learn how to play pickleball. Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities with local businesses and organizations. Coordinate with facility leadership and operations to ensure successful events. Promote facility offerings and create opportunities to turn event guests into future customers and members. Work the front desk approximately 2 days per week to learn the business, systems, and customer experience. Track leads, sales activity, event bookings, and sponsorship opportunities. Qualifications Sales, event sales, business development, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills. Confident approaching businesses and organizations to create new opportunities. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with proactive outreach and follow-up. Professional, energetic, and personable. Ability to work some evenings and weekends based on event needs. What Success Looks Like Increased private and corporate event bookings. Growth in event and sponsorship revenue. Strong community and business partnerships. A healthy pipeline of new event opportunities. Increased facility tours and new customer visits. Pay:
