Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and growing long-term relationships with residential and commercial customers throughout Connecticut and surrounding markets. This position is primarily field-based, spending the majority of each week meeting with prospective and existing customers.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales experience (building products or construction preferred) Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to travel throughout Connecticut and neighboring states Self-motivated and organized Comfortable using CRM software Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to read plans and understand construction terminology is preferred Preferred Experience Experience selling one or more of the following: Cabinets Countertops Millwork Closets Interior finishes Building materials Commercial interiors Construction services Skills Relationship building Prospecting Territory management Negotiation Presentation skills Time management CRM management Problem solving Customer service Territory The representative will primarily serve: Connecticut Central Massachusetts Rhode Island Select areas of New York (as assigned) Travel is expected 4-5 days per week , with most work performed in the field.
