This role has evolved with the industry: success today is built on relationships, trust, and thoughtful recommendations—not cold calling. You will be provided with an established base of customers to work with. Your job is to learn their palate, preferences, and areas of interest, then stay meaningfully connected through phone and email to share wines we've discovered through tastings and market research. If you love talking wine, building long-term customer relationships, and curating bottles people get genuinely excited about, this role is for you. What You'll Do Build and maintain relationships with an assigned book of customers Learn each customer's taste profile, buying habits, and wine interests Present and recommend wines based on customer preferences and discoveries from our tastings and market research Communicate with customers via phone and email to share offers, allocations, and special finds Answer wine-related questions and guide customers confidently through selections Achieve agreed-upon sales goals through consultative, relationship-driven selling What We Provide A base of existing customers to work with (no cold calling) Sales tools including pricing, inventory access, order placement, and account history Ongoing exposure to new wines through tastings and marketplace research Schedule & Availability Must be available to work several evenings per week until 8:00 PM Sunday availability required (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM) Occasional Saturdays Schedules may vary Compensation $20.00 per hour to start Generous commission structure available for highly motivated, high-performing individuals Ideal Candidate Experienced in wine sales or the wine industry Passionate about wine and eager to continue learning Comfortable building long-term customer relationships Self-motivated, organized, and consultative in approach You can apply to this position by replying directly to this posting.
