The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Inside Sales Representative to develop business around Fischer's service products, including recertifications, repairs, service agreements, training, and application support. This is an active sales role for someone who enjoys making outbound calls, developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, following up, and closing business. You will work closely with customers, prospects, Field Sales, Marketing, Applications, Service, and Operations. Essential Job Functions Prospect for new business through outbound calls, emails, lead follow-up, referrals, trade shows, marketing campaigns, and targeted prospecting. Qualify leads, understand customer needs, prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and drive sales through closing. Develop knowledge of Fischer's measurement technologies and service offerings and recommend appropriate solutions to customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and channel partners while identifying opportunities for additional services, products, upgrades, and applications. Collaborate with Field Sales, Service, Applications, Marketing, and Operations to coordinate customer needs, demonstrate technical support, and follow-up. Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, quotation, pipeline, forecast, and activity information in the CRM. Generate sales orders in SAP and verify purchase orders against Fischer proposals. Follow up on marketing-generated leads, website inquiries, tradeshow leads, and other opportunities while tracking sales activity and results.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills High school technical diploma or equivalent required; relevant inside sales, B2B, technical sales, or business development experience preferred. Manufacturing experience or experience working in a similar industrial or technical environment required. Experience selling industrial products, instrumentation, equipment, or technical solutions is a plus. Proven ability to prospect, qualify, follow up, and close sales opportunities. Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence making outbound calls. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and work effectively with CRM systems. Self-motivated, competitive, results-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
