Hourly (with opportunity for growth) Overview The Floor Fathers is seeking a reliable, high-energy Front Desk & Appointment Coordinator to staff our downtown Auburndale storefront. This role is critical to our customer experience and sales process. You will be the first point of contact for incoming leads and phone calls, responsible for rapid lead follow-up, appointment setting, and ongoing client communication. This is an in-store position. You will be seated at the front desk, managing phones, leads, and customer flow throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Lead Management & Appointment Setting Monitor incoming leads from online marketing platforms (Google, Meta, Angie, website, etc.) Contact new leads within two minutes of receipt Qualify leads by gathering project details (type of flooring, timeline, location, budget range, etc.) Schedule in-home or showroom appointments accurately on the calendar Confirm appointments and send follow-up communications Follow up after appointments to gather feedback and ensure next steps are clear Front Desk & Phone Management Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally Handle a wide range of customer inquiries, including: Scheduling new appointments Rescheduling or confirming existing appointments Addressing concerns such as installer arrival times or job status Route urgent issues to the appropriate team member Maintain a calm, helpful demeanor—even when handling frustrated customers Administrative & Support Tasks Keep lead and appointment notes organized and up to date Assist walk-in showroom visitors and notify sales staff as needed Maintain a clean, professional front desk and showroom presence Support the sales and operations team with communication and coordination Qualifications Phone presence and clear communication skills Comfortable handling a fast-paced call and lead volume Organized and detail-oriented Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive follow-ups Basic computer skills and comfort with CRM systems, calendars, and email Sales, appointment setting, or front desk experience preferred (but not required) Flooring, home services, or construction industry experience is a plus What We Offer Stable, full-time hourly position Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Growth opportunities as the company expands Training on systems, scripts, and processes A professional, supportive, team-oriented work environment.
