Requirements :
3-7+ years in construction BD/sales or complex B2B selling with long cycles. Existing Central Florida relationships with owners/developers/GCs preferred. Understanding of design-bid-build, design-build, preconstruction, and procurement processes. Prospecting, discovery, relationship-building, and presentation skills. Experience using CRM tools and Microsoft 365. Hunter mindset, urgency, resilience, and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Market Development Map territory, define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and build named account plans. Maintain competitive intelligence on key projects, GC bid lists, and owner/developer pipelines. Demand Generation & Prospecting Conduct outbound outreach to schedule discovery meetings. Run discovery to understand program needs, budget, schedule, scope, and decision process. Qualify opportunities and advance them to preconstruction/estimating. Opportunity Management Coordinate with estimating on RFQs/RFPs, proposals, and bid submissions. Support presentations, shortlist meetings, and value-engineering discussions. Track milestones from early design bid award Project Start first billing. Account & Stakeholder Engagement Grow multi-level relationships with owners, developers, GCs, architects, and PMs. Create account plans with penetration strategies, pursuit calendars, and event plans. Hand off awarded work to operations with a clear scope and client context. Reporting & Systems Maintain CRM and pipeline accuracy. Provide weekly forecasts, monthly pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs). Track activity KPIs including meetings, bids, shortlist rates, and win rates.
