Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for working with the Director, Business Development Support, Trade & Host Travel Partner Relations and the Sr. Host Agency Account Executive, with a specific focus on the implementation and execution of the 2nd phone field program for identified Host Agency partners. This includes maintaining full knowledge of available 2nd phone field options and capabilities. The position will provide support in various sales and partner support activities with the goal of ensuring satisfaction and operational excellence, which in turn leads to increased revenue performance for Host and 2nd phone field branches. This role requires creative, outside-the-box thinking to meet the various needs of partners. The position will liaise with key personnel from IT, Automation Support, Sales Administration, and sister brands to help exceed growth goals for each Host Agency partner. The role will also work with the Host Agency Team to establish a yearly training calendar geared toward Independent Contractors in key cities. This includes in-person, shipboard, and virtual events, as well as sales presentations and training seminars for small and large audiences to promote the brand, specific ships, programs, and destinations as needed. The position is also responsible for achieving sales targets for assigned accounts, including revenue growth, volume growth, and product-specific targets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with Host Agencies and their Independent Contractors. Conduct outbound sales calls to new and established 2nd phone field agencies to uncover sales opportunities. Maintain Host Agency contact lists in Salesforce and increase engagement with non-2nd phone field Independent Contractors. Identify strategic initiatives with the Director and Sr. Host Agency Account Executive based on Independent Contractor engagement priorities. Support social media engagement on Host closed group Facebook pages. Assist with the coordination and delivery of customized Independent Contractor trainings, including face-to-face sessions, ship tours, local events, and virtual trainings. Support standard operating procedures for the implementation of the 2nd phone field program. Maintain complete knowledge of all Royal Caribbean International products, services, and brand representation. Work with cross-functional departments to ensure execution of sales goals. Travel occasionally as required. Perform other duties as required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Travel industry background preferred. Assertive, self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work as a self-starter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and presentation skills. Ability to travel occasionally. Position is based in the Miami headquarters office. Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to use advanced business and sales knowledge to make decisions, exercise sound judgment, negotiate effectively, and deliver results. Ability to use multiple communication and interaction methods to collaborate effectively, achieve results with others, and develop customer champions. Ability to display the highest level of personal integrity, take responsibility for personal and organizational results, and proactively develop greater capability. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. We know there's a lot to consider.
