This role is responsible for building brand awareness, driving sales, executing samplings, and developing strong relationships with both on and off premise accounts. A genuine passion for Irish whiskey is essential, along with a strong interest in production methods, brand heritage, and the unique identity of the brands. The position will focus on promoting the brands throughout South Florida, with the potential to expand brand presence beyond Florida; travel is required up to 50%.
Shift:
Generally, Monday-Friday; Average 50-55 Hours per Week Job Responsibilities Promote and grow sales of The Mad Marquess and Curraghmore Irish whiskeys within assigned territory Serve in a stand-alone role requiring a high level of independence, ownership, and self-motivation while representing the brands in the market Actively support sales, marketing, promotions, and sampling efforts to drive brand awareness and revenue growth Build and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts, bars, restaurants, and key decision-makers Must be able to professionally present, taste, and describe each brand of whiskey in a responsible manner while planning and executing in-store tastings, samplings, and promotional events to drive consumer engagement Educate customers, staff, and consumers on product history, flavor profiles, and brand story Identify new business opportunities and secure new placements and features Ensure proper merchandising, display execution, and adherence to brand standards in all accounts Independently develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and achieve territory objectives Track and report on sales activity, account progress, and market feedback Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments Participate in weekly check-ins with supplier to report on performance, market insights and ongoing initiatives Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Bachelor's degree; in lieu of, 2-5+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, promotions, or the beverage/alcohol industry, with demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and building customer relationships Demonstrated ability in customer management within specific territory Proven experience and strong abilities in educating and motivating others to manage business effectively Valid Florida Driver's License Strong customer service skills Preferred skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; as well as Canva and Adobe Design Alcohol & Beverage industry, highly preferred Program and budget development, implementation, management and strategic decision-making experience, highly preferred Strong knowledge of or interest in Irish whiskey and premium spirits Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, field-based role Must be comfortable conducting tastings and speaking in front of groups Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Experience with brand promotion, events, or ambassador roles Established relationships within the local on and off premise market Creative approach to driving brand awareness and engagement Ability to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs and fulfill all physical requirements of the job Available and willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays This position must pass a post-offer background and drug screening Must pass a motor vehicle report and meet insurance liability requirements Reliable personal transportation
