Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher Needed 26/27 School Year

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Soliant is working with a school district in the St Lucie, Florida area that needs a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. About:

Full-Time (35 hours per week) K-12th grade caseload; Itinerant position (traveling to multiple schools within the district).

Job Duties:

Providing consultations to students throughout the district K-12th grade, assess educational needs of students who are deaf/hard of hearing, collaborating with other certified school staff, oversee the use of technology or specialized equipment for learners, and developing/implementation of IEP's.

Requirements :

Active Florida State Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (Pk-12th grade); District is willing to accept out of state licensures or new graduates!
