Job Description

Job Description Framing Creations is a long-established, high-end custom picture framing studio located in Lake Mary, Florida. Founded in 1984, we specialize in conservation framing, fine art presentation, object framing, custom framing design, and framing solutions for residential, artistic, and commercial clients. We are looking for a motivated, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to help us grow our business, especially in the commercial market. This is primarily a marketing and client development role . The main focus will be identifying, reaching out to, and building relationships with new clients, especially commercial clients such as interior designers, staging companies, builders, hotels, schools, galleries, photographers, artists, corporate offices, and other organizations that may need repeated or project-based framing services. This position will begin as part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. However, we are looking for someone who can grow with our business long term. For the right candidate with strong performance and commitment, this role may develop into a full-time position. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Business Development Identify and research potential new clients, with a strong focus on commercial and repeat-business opportunities Build and maintain a prospect list of interior designers, staging companies, builders, hotels, galleries, artists, photographers, schools, corporate offices, government offices, and other local businesses Reach out to prospective clients through email, phone, LinkedIn, social media, and local networking Follow up with potential clients in a professional and consistent manner Help create and execute marketing plans to generate real leads and business opportunities Develop seasonal and holiday marketing campaigns for occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduation season, wedding season, back-to-school, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and year-end corporate gifting Manage and grow our social media presence, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile Create content ideas, write captions, post project photos, and help tell the story behind our completed framing projects Assist with simple marketing materials such as flyers, email campaigns, portfolio pages, client follow-up messages, and commercial outreach materials Track marketing activity and help measure which efforts are generating leads, appointments, and sales Work closely with the owners to refine our marketing strategy and improve customer acquisition Client Experience & Showroom Support Front desk responsibilities are a smaller part of this role but are still important. Greet walk-in clients in a warm and professional manner Assist with customer pickups and basic order follow-ups Answer phone calls and respond to client emails Help clients with basic framing design selections after training Keep the showroom clean, organized, and visually presentable Learn how to communicate the value of custom framing, conservation materials, handcrafted work, and high-quality design Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is not only creative, but also proactive and business-minded.
The ideal candidate should be:
Strongly interested in marketing, business development, and client acquisition Comfortable reaching out to new clients and building professional relationships Confident writing emails, social media captions, and client-friendly marketing messages Organized and able to follow up consistently Results-driven and motivated by performance-based rewards Creative and visually sensitive, with an appreciation for art, design, interiors, photography, or home décor Professional, friendly, and comfortable speaking with clients in person and over the phone Able to work independently in a small business environment Willing to learn about custom framing, conservation framing, and design presentation Interested in growing with the company long term This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys both creative marketing and relationship-based business development. Preferred Qualifications College degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, Art, Interior Design, Public Relations, or a related field Experience in marketing, social media management, business development, sales, client outreach, or local business promotion Experience using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Canva, Mailchimp, CRM tools, or similar platforms Strong writing skills Experience creating seasonal promotions, marketing campaigns, or social media content calendars Experience working with small businesses, luxury products, design services, galleries, interior designers, artists, photographers, or commercial clients is a plus Prior sales, lead generation, or B2B outreach experience is a strong plus Compensation Starting pay is $23-$28 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. In addition to hourly pay, we offer strong performance-based bonus opportunities , especially for qualified commercial leads, new client development, successful outreach, and new business generated through marketing efforts. Specific bonus details will be discussed during the interview process and may be based on qualified appointments, new commercial client accounts, and successful sales generated from marketing and outreach activities. Schedule This position will start as part-time, approximately 20 hours per week . Preferred schedule will be during regular business hours on weekdays and Saturdays. Some flexibility may be available. Although this role begins as part-time, we are looking for a long-term team member. For the right person, this position may grow into a full-time role as the business expands.
