Experienced / Team Lead Position Overview The Sales Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the Sales Team while helping ensure an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through the transition into project execution. This role combines sales leadership, customer relationship management, team coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has experience in sales and customer-facing environments, preferably within real estate, housing, construction/development, lending/financing, or a related industry. The successful candidate should have the ability and willingness to learn our products, systems, financing options, documentation requirements, and overall customer journey. Sales & Customer Experience Responsibilities Guide customers through the sales experience, including product options, pricing, available services, financing considerations, documentation, and next steps. Build strong customer relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and professional follow-up. Help customers understand available options and make informed purchasing decisions. Maintain accurate and timely customer information, sales activity, and documentation. Ensure customers receive a knowledgeable, proactive, and well-coordinated experience throughout the sales phase. Support smooth customer handoffs from Sales to Project Management and other departments. Sales Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support members of the Sales Team. Help establish priorities and maintain consistent follow-up with leads and customers. Coordinate Sales Team scheduling and coverage based on business and customer needs. Support accountability for lead management, customer communication, documentation, and sales goals. Encourage collaboration, professionalism, initiative, and continuous improvement within the team. Assist team members with customer situations, questions, and sales-related challenges when needed. Cross-Functional Coordination & Support Work closely with Leadership, Loan Coordination, Project Management, Accounting, and other internal teams to support successful customer projects. Coordinate with lenders, manufacturers, vendors, and other external partners as appropriate. Help ensure information provided during the sales phase is accurately communicated to the departments responsible for the next stages of the project. Support other departments when needed while maintaining clear ownership of responsibilities and effective communication across teams. Documentation & Compliance Leadership Ensure sales documentation is complete, accurate, organized, and maintained according to company requirements. Support proper documentation of customer selections, pricing, financing information, agreements, and project-related information. Promote consistency in the use of company systems and established procedures. Help ensure Sales Team activities comply with applicable company policies, lender requirements, and regulatory requirements. Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer and company information. Ideal Qualifications Previous experience in sales, customer relationship management, or a related customer-facing role. Experience in real estate, housing, construction/development, lending/financing, or a related industry is strongly preferred. Previous leadership, team lead, supervisory, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred. Strong consultative sales and customer-service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple customers, priorities, and deadlines. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and understand how individual decisions affect the overall customer experience and project. Comfortable learning and using technology, CRM systems, documentation platforms, and other business tools. High standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and compliance. Ability and willingness to learn company-specific products, services, financing options, and operational requirements. Compensation Base Wage or Salary, Commensurate with Experience + Commission Specific commission structure will be discussed according to the company's applicable compensation plans. Schedule 30-40 hours per week , scheduled according to business needs, customer appointments, and Sales & Design Center coverage requirements.
