Primary Objective The Sales Operations Specialist (Enablement) plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and operational efficiency by supporting our sales team through the full sales cyclefrom opportunity identification to deal closure. This position demands a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can seamlessly manage quoting, RFP/RFQ responses, pipeline reporting, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Quote & Proposal Generation:
Accurately prepare customer quotes, construct professional solution presentations, and assist Account Managers with pricing, product selection, and proposals tailored for K-12 and higher education clients.
RFP/RFQ Coordination:
Manage end-to-end RFP responses. Gather technical specs, pricing, warranties, and service details; review requirements for compliance; and ensure high-quality, on-time submissions.
Vendor & Logistics Alignment:
Coordinate directly with distributors, manufacturers, and internal teams to secure competitive pricing, check product availability, track lead times, and align on specifications.
CRM & Sales Analytics:
Track opportunities, quotes, and follow-ups within the CRM. Monitor and report on key KPIsincluding pipeline activity, conversion rates, call metrics, and revenueto maintain accurate sales forecasts.
Deal Flow & Order Support:
Follow up on outstanding quotes to help advance opportunities. Collaborate with operations to streamline order processing and ensure post-sale customer requirements are fully met.
Proactive Problem Solving:
Take complete ownership of assigned tasks, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep deals moving efficiently.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate Mindset & Approach:
Self-starter with a strong "can-do" attitude, high ownership, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
Education Market Experience:
Prior experience with K-12 or higher ed procurement, RFP processes, or technology products is highly preferred.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for client and internal partner coordination.
Academic Background:
Majors in Business Administration & Management, Information Systems Management, or related fields are preferred.
Work Authorization:
