The primary responsibilities are to keep customer inquiries, sales opportunities, and active orders moving accurately and on time. The role is full time in a professional retail environment serving customers from across our community and the space coast. We're Brevard's top-rated (4.9★) appliance showroom specializing in premium appliance. Capritta Appliance & Air Conditioning has served Brevard and Indian River Counties for 45 years. We are family-owned, and we sell and service what we sell. We are looking for someone who is responsive, dependable, positive, and consistent in their work habits. What this role is You will be a first point of contact for showroom phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers once you have been trained in our product lines, company processes and customer management software. You will work alongside a seasoned sales team who perform similar duties. This sales team will assist with challenging situations, larger orders, and complex projects that you encounter. Your work will manage orders directly from customers contacting our showroom and will give support to the sales team on orders already in progress. By tracking product status, coordinating with dispatch, updating customers, and helping prevent details from falling through the cracks, this job can be rewarding as you fulfill this key position in our company. Primary responsibilitiesCustomer management and sales team support Answer incoming showroom calls and emails promptly and professionally. Gather key customer information, update opportunities in the CRM, and route to appropriate sales advisors. Greet walk-in customers, identify the purpose of their visit, and assist in meeting their appliance needs. Create smooth handoffs with complete notes to the sales team for larger projects or repeat client orders. Prepare quotes, enter orders, and complete administrative follow-up at the direction of the sales manager. Order coordination and customer communication Track order acknowledgments, arrival dates, backorders, substitutions, and product availability issues. Coordinate delivery and installation scheduling between the customer and our dispatch team. Proactively communicate delays, changes, or missing information with customers. Review order details for accuracy with customers prior to closing a sale, including prep for home deliveries. Maintain accurate customer records, sales opportunities, and order notes for all transactions you manage. Limited straightforward sales Assist customers with single-unit replacement needs and standard appliance purchases. Follow all company standards for order processing and management and own the customer experience. Recognize requests that require deeper product consultation or project expertise then transfer to sales team. Showroom readiness Complete the assigned opening and closing procedures each day that maintain high levels of efficiency. Maintain awareness of the showroom's presentation by participating in daily cleaning as needed. Keep product tags, literature, and pricing current and correctly placed across the showroom. Report to the management team display damage or other showroom issues that need attention. Customer Experience (CX): customers receive clear communication and know what to expect throughout the process. What this role is not This is not a commissioned sales position, and the coordinator is not expected to compete with sales advisors for leads. The role does not own a specific kitchen remodeling project, custom built-in packages, design projects, or builder and designer accounts. Its purpose is to manage inquiries and small orders effectively, strengthen the CX in the showroom, and help the sales team and operations staff deliver on promises. What we're looking for Two or more years of experience in customer service, sales support, order coordination, retail, front office, reservations, dispatch, property management, or a similar role. Strong attention to detail and someone who enjoys taking ownership of a customer's complete experience. Capable of maintaining consistency in managing phone and email volume while keeping accurate records. Clear, professional communication and confidence to discuss basic pricing and order details with customers. Comfortable in using CRM software, email, quoting, order-entry, and business-texting tools. Sound judgment about when to handle a straightforward request and when to involve a sales advisor. Ability to work full-time, on-site in West Melbourne, including rotating Saturdays. Experience with appliances, kitchen and bath products, building products, or home services is beneficial but not required. We will provide an onboarding process that includes product and systems training along with gaining an understanding of our company's vision, mission, and culture that sets us apart from others. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is an on-site position at our West Melbourne showroom and is not eligible for remote work.
