Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving new business, and expanding our market share within the construction and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the drive to exceed sales goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers (contractors, builders, developers, etc.) Identify new business opportunities and grow assigned territory Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate lumber and building materials solutions Prepare and deliver professional presentations and quotes Coordinate with inside sales and support staff to ensure excellent service and timely deliveries Stay up to date with industry trends, pricing, and competitor activity Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM tools Qualifications Experience in sales or construction preferred Understanding of the construction industry and related products Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to travel within assigned territory (mileage reimbursement available), some overnight travel may be required for training Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms Strong math and computer skills What We Offer Competitive base salary + commission with unlimited earning potential Mileage reimbursement Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, 401(k), etc.) Supportive team environment with experienced inside sales and logistics staff Opportunity to grow with a company that values integrity, hard work, and long-term success Training that will lead to success (i.e. - Training will consist of learning the entire business model of a building supply yard focused on professional contractors as the customer base. $50,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
