Job Description
We're looking for a personable, motivated, and design-minded professional to join our growing cabinetry and luxury building materials team serving the Athens and Lake Oconee markets. This is a client-facing showroom position for someone who enjoys interior design, working with people, and helping turn ideas into finished spaces. You'll work directly with homeowners, designers, builders, and remodelers to develop cabinetry and material selections, prepare quotes, and guide projects from the initial conversation through ordering. Our product offerings include custom and semi-custom cabinetry, ready-to-assemble cabinetry, furniture, tile, flooring, slate siding, and other premium interior and exterior building materials. What You'll Do Welcome and assist clients in the showroom with cabinetry, finishes, and material selections. Develop cabinetry layouts and prepare accurate project quotes. Work with custom, semi-custom, and ready-to-assemble cabinet lines to find the right solution for each project and budget. Use or learn cabinet design and rendering software to help clients visualize their spaces. Communicate with homeowners, interior designers, builders, architects, and remodelers throughout the sales and design process. Coordinate selections, pricing, revisions, measurements, and ordering details. Maintain organized records and follow up consistently with active leads and clients. Learn new product lines and stay knowledgeable about cabinetry, finishes, hardware, and building materials. Help build long-term relationships with local designers, builders, and trade professionals. We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience or a strong interest in interior design, cabinetry, construction, remodeling, or building materials. Is personable, confident, and comfortable working directly with clients. Has a strong eye for design, proportion, color, and detail. Can manage multiple projects, quotes, and client conversations at the same time. Is organized, dependable, and proactive with follow-up. Has strong computer skills and can quickly learn new software. Has experience with SketchUp, 2020 Design, KCD, Mozaik, or similar design software—or is willing to learn. Has previous cabinetry, kitchen and bath, furniture, flooring, or building-material sales experience. Has relationships with local designers, builders, contractors, or remodelers—a major plus.
