Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, detailed-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative for the Western United States Territory. This position plays a vital role in supporting outside sales representatives, group managers, internal departments, and customers throughout the entire project lifecycle. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments. This role offers the opportunity to build strong customer relationships, coordinate with multiple departments, and contribute directly to the success of customer projects and overall business growth.
Shift:
Day Shift. The initial schedule is (M-Fri) 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM during training, transitioning to 9 AM to 6 PM to better support the Western time zones. Responsibilities Provide professional and courteous support to customers, Outside Sales reps, Group Managers, and internal departments through phone, email and teams' communications. Answer and manage the mainline and direct line calls efficiently. Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, outside sales reps and internal teams. Assist customers and Outside sales reps with product questions, shipment updates, lead times, and project coordination while supporting projects through the sales and order process by providing efficient communication and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Assist customer and sales reps with finalizing projects for order submission. Process customer and Outside sales orders accurately and efficiently. Review purchase orders, quotes, plans, and shop drawings for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate internally with engineering, production, shipping, accounting, and logistics departments. Maintain organized project records and communication. Learn and utilize multiple internal systems. Interpret and work with shop drawings and plans. Maintain high attention to detail. Resolve customer concerns or issues professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Screening:
Ability to pass a drug test and background check. Minimum of 3 years in Inside Sales, customer service, sales support and administrative experience Some knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills. Professionalism when working with peers, internal departments, customers, and outside sales representatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Proficient in data entry and customer information analysis. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and purchase orders. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, teams, Excel, SharePoint, and Lists. Ability to accept constructive criticism and apply feedback for continued growth and improvement. Must be adaptable and flexible in response to changing priorities and business needs.
Education:
High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).

$60,000.00 per year
