Job Description

Position Summary Durand-Wayland is looking for a Sales Manager for the Americas to lead the growth of our orchard sprayer and sewer jetter division across North, Central and South America. This is a high-impact role for a candidate who enjoys building dealer relationships, supporting customers in the field and helping shape commercial strategy. The person in this role will work closely with leadership and oversee a dedicated Product/Sales Engineer to deliver solutions that support performance, reliability and profitable growth. What You'll Do Lead Sales Growth and Dealer Success
  • Build, support and grow strong Sprayer/Sewer Jetter dealer networks across the Americas.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share in key tree fruit and nut regions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand municipal and commercial sewer jetter growth. Share market insights, competitive activity and seasonal outlooks with company leadership.
  • Prepare catalogue pricing, quotes and commercial materials with attention to customer needs, dealer margins and company profitability.
  • Guide the work of a dedicated Product/Sales Engineer to deliver accurate, field-ready equipment configurations.
  • Use ERP, Solidworks, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools to manage customer activity and support a well-organized sales pipeline.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for air blast, engine driven and hydraulic Sprayers as well as appropriately specified Sewer Jetter solutions for customers.
  • Represent Durand-Wayland at regional and national trade shows and help strengthen our presence in the market. Help Customers Succeed in the Field
  • Resolve technical and service issues in a way that builds long-term dealer and grower confidence.
  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to troubleshoot any pump, hydraulic and/or mechanical issues in the field. What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in agricultural equipment sales, preferably within a dealer-based distribution model.
  • Strong technical knowledge of orchard Sprayer mechanics, hydraulic flow control and fluid delivery systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with abas ERP or similar business systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
