Job Description

Boat Salesperson Custom Marine | Statesboro, GA Custom Marine is looking for a motivated Boat Salesperson to join our growing team in Statesboro, Georgia. We're looking for someone who is personable, driven, and genuinely interested in the boating lifestyle. This is a sales position for someone who can build relationships, understand what customers actually need, and guide them toward the right boat—not simply someone who wants to sell whatever is on the lot. What You'll Do Work with customers from initial inquiry through the purchase process Learn and confidently present our lineup of boats, including Sportsman, TRACKER and other brands Generate and follow up with leads through phone calls, text messages, email, and in-person interactions Ask the right questions to understand a customer's boating needs, budget, and intended use Conduct boat walk-throughs and demonstrations Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing customers Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage referrals and repeat business Keep up with current inventory, promotions, financing options, and manufacturer programs Work closely with our finance, parts, service, and management teams to provide a smooth customer experience Maintain accurate customer and lead information in our CRM What We're Looking For Previous sales experience preferred, but we will consider the right candidate with strong communication and customer-service skills Boating knowledge or genuine interest in boating is a major plus Confident and comfortable communicating with customers in person, over the phone, and through digital channels Strong follow-up and organizational skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Professional, personable, and comfortable building relationships Ability to learn product specifications and explain them clearly to customers Comfortable using technology and CRM software Valid driver's license Ability to work weekends as needed Why Custom Marine?
