The Opportunity The Sales Development Representative is responsible for converting inbound interest and targeted outbound prospecting into qualified sales opportunities. Besides having a target list to engage, you will research accounts, engage business and operational stakeholders, conduct initial discovery, and schedule well-qualified meetings for Allegis sales professionals. This is a good fit for a process-oriented B2B seller who wants meaningful ownership, direct exposure to Sales and Marketing leadership, and a clear path toward Senior SDR, Account Executive, or sales-development leadership roles. What You'll Do As a foundational member of the company's sales development function, the SDR will follow clear qualification, routing, and follow-up standards while helping refine Allegis' messaging and playbooks through direct market feedback and prospect conversations. Respond to inbound inquiries and marketing-qualified leads promptly, prioritizing high-intent requests and meeting the established speed-to-lead service level. Research target accounts and build thoughtful prospect lists using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Clay, and other available data sources. Execute coordinated outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn, using automation to support—not replace—relevant, personalized communication. Conduct initial discovery to understand businessneeds,fit, stakeholders, urgency, and next steps. Schedule qualified meetings and provide Account Executives with complete context, notes, and agreed follow-up actions. Maintain accurate lifecycle stages, activity records, qualification details, and disposition data in HubSpot. Partner with Sales and Marketing Operations on enterprise account plays and targeted campaigns. Share weekly feedback on lead quality, prospect objections, competitive signals, channel performance, and messaging opportunities. How Success Will Be Measured During onboarding, goals will be prorated while you complete product, market, process, and HubSpot training. At steady state, the scorecard will balance activity, quality, and pipeline outcomes: Timely follow-up on assigned inbound leads, with at least 95% completed within the established service level. Consistent, high-quality outbound prospecting across assigned accounts and segments. Approximately30-45sales-qualified leads per month, calibrated to territory, lead volume, and segment mix. Approximately15-20AE-accepted opportunities per month, with a target SQL-to-opportunity conversion rate of 60% or better. $400,000 or more in qualified pipeline created per quarter, subject to assigned segment and average opportunity value. At least a 70% held-meeting rate and 95% CRM activity-logging compliance. Final definitions, crediting rules, quota, territory, ramp expectations, and incentive-plan terms will be reviewed in writing before the start date. What You Bring An outgoingand energetic personality with the confidence to make calls and build a connection with people as you go. One to three years of B2B prospecting, inside-sales, customer-development, or closely related experience. Evidence of meeting goals in a role that required consistent outreach, follow-through, and accurate documentation. Strong phone, email, and LinkedIn communication skills; you communicate clearly and professionally. Curiosity and the ability to learn industrial products, customer operations, and technical value propositions. A coachable, resilient, and accountable working style. Comfort using a CRM and learning new prospecting and sales-enablement tools. Helpful, but Not Required Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial services, or technical B2B sales. Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or another modern CRM. Experience with account-based prospecting, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Clay, or similar tools. Exposure to a structured qualification method such as BANT, PAINS,or MEDDIC. Thoughtful use of AI tools for research, preparation, personalization, or call notes. Your First 90 Days By day 30:

Complete onboarding; build fluency in Allegis offerings, customers, playbooks, and HubSpot; begin executing supervised outreach. By day 60:

Manage assigned inbound and outbound activity consistently, conduct effective qualification, and contribute qualified pipeline. By day 90:

Operate independently against a prorated scorecard and contribute actionable feedback that improves conversion and messaging. Compensation, Benefits & Development Base salary:$60,000-$80,000, based on relevant experience, capabilities, and location.
Target variable compensation:
$25,000+uncapped,subject to the written incentive plan.
Target OTE:
$85,000-$120,000. Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and profit sharing. Structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and training on Allegis products, customers, HubSpot, and the sales-development process. Performance-based growth opportunities into Senior SDR, Account Executive, or sales-development leadership positions. Work Arrangement Allegis is on an on-site & in-office company and potential other arrangements can be made for the right candidate. The final arrangement, working hours, travel expectations, and any location-specific requirements will be agreed upon during the hiring process.
