Role:
We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative to take charge of driving equipment sales and building long-term customer relationships in a defined territory. This isn't just about selling forklifts—it's about solving problems, offering practical solutions, and being the go-to partner for our customers. You'll have the autonomy to manage your accounts, the backing of a team that moves fast, and the opportunity to make a real difference as we continue growing. What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain customer relationships, building a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory Implement strategic plans to identify new opportunities and increase overall sales and profitability Conduct detailed customer needs analyses to create tailored proposals and solutions Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions Maintain working knowledge of used equipment values and support trade-in evaluations Assist customers with financing options for new, used, and rental equipment Attend training sessions and seminars to continuously improve sales effectiveness
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
At least 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the material handling or equipment industry Working knowledge of lift trucks, aerial equipment, racking, dock, and door equipment Self-motivated with a track record of prospecting and closing new business opportunities Ability to tailor sales conversations using effective questioning and listening skills Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a larger team Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
