This is not a sit-around retail job. It is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will learn how to guide people through major buying decisions, solve real problems, and build confidence in communication, sales, and service. As a Certified Sleep Specialist, you will help people understand their options, choose the right sleep setup, and leave feeling taken care of. Your work directly shapes the customer experience and helps drive the success of the store. What you'll do Welcome customers and create a strong first impression in the store Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer needs, comfort preferences, and sleep challenges Guide customers through a personalized sleep evaluation Recommend complete sleep solutions, including mattresses, bases, pillows, protectors, and accessories Learn product knowledge and sleep science so you can explain options with confidence Follow the company sales process with discipline and consistency Keep customer information organized in the CRM Follow up with customers and help create referral opportunities through strong service Support store standards, cleanliness, and day-to-day team execution Participate in training, coaching, roleplays, and weekly development conversations What we're looking for Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional presence A willingness to learn, take coaching, and improve quickly Personal responsibility and follow-through Comfort talking with people and building trust face-to-face A disciplined work style and dependable habits A positive attitude and team-first mindset Basic comfort with technology and digital tools Interest in sales, customer service, business, health, or personal development Preferred qualifications Retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience Experience balancing work with school, athletics, clubs, or other responsibilities Leadership experience in school, work, sports, church, or community activities Interest in building long-term skills in sales, communication, or business Who tends to do well here This team is built around Extreme Ownership, disciplined habits, Fanatical Service, and Kaizen, which means constant improvement.
