Job Description
The Sales Representative seeks out new business opportunities to grow sales volume and increase profitability. They provide exemplary customer service while developing a relationship between SAS and its customers within assigned territory to include: Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Schaumburg, Evanston, Des Plaines.
Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to, assigned regional and local chains.
- Collect money from customers and record transactions on customer receipts.
- Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
- Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes.
- Listen to and resolve customers' comments regarding products or services.
- Call on prospective customers to explain company services and develop market within assigned territory.
- Issue sales promotion materials to customers, for example, technology, food service, and marketing programs.
- Achieves sales profit standards.
- Implement customer merchandising and programs.
- Various tasks as directed by management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Minimum of three years direct sales experience.
