Used Car Administrator / Inventory Operations ManagerDrive Used Vehicle Profitability & Sales Success We are seeking an experienced Used Car Administrator / Inventory Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our used vehicle operations. This role is critical to maximizing inventory performance, maintaining vehicle presentation, supporting sales profitability, and developing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in dealership used car operations, pricing strategy, inventory management, and sales support. Responsibilities Analyze market trends and competitively price used vehicle inventory to maximize profitability and sales velocity. Oversee the reconditioning process , ensuring vehicles are repaired, detailed, photographed, and frontline-ready in a timely manner. Monitor inventory aging and make recommendations regarding pricing adjustments, lot placement, and wholesale decisions. Manage vehicle merchandising and strategic lot positioning to optimize customer traffic and inventory visibility. Support sales managers by desking deals , structuring transactions, and helping maximize gross profit opportunities. Coordinate with service, detail, and sales departments to ensure efficient inventory turn times. Train, coach, and mentor sales consultants on inventory knowledge, vehicle presentation, appraisal processes, and sales best practices. Maintain accurate inventory records, vehicle statuses, and pricing information. Review market data, competitor pricing, and inventory trends to make recommendations that improve performance. Assist with vehicle appraisals and acquisition opportunities as needed. Qualifications Prior automotive dealership experience in used car management, inventory management, sales management, or a similar leadership role. Strong understanding of vehicle pricing tools, market analysis, inventory management, and reconditioning processes. Experience desking deals and supporting sales profitability. Proven ability to train and develop sales personnel. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with dealership management systems and inventory software.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
