We're seeking a Truss & Components Sales Representative to join a dynamic and growing team that's been serving the building industry for years. If you're passionate about construction, thrive on connecting with people, and love solving problems with smart design and product solutions—this role is your next big opportunity. A current book of business is available You'll be the go-to resource for customers—building strong partnerships, identifying structural needs, and helping contractors, builders, and project managers find the right truss and building component solutions to bring their projects to life.
What You'll Do:
Drive new business by prospecting, networking, and following up on leads within the assigned territory. Build and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and developers through trust, follow-through, and technical support. Conduct on-site visits to job sites and client offices to gather project requirements, take measurements, and offer consultative sales support. Review blueprints and plans to estimate required materials, offering insights on efficient truss and floor systems. Coordinate with internal teams (designers, production, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery. Prepare and present accurate proposals , pricing, and product recommendations tailored to client needs and project specs. Stay engaged post-sale to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and earn repeat business. Represent the brand at industry events, tradeshows, builder meetings, and professional organizations. Collaborate with accounting on invoicing and collections when needed.
What You Bring:
Proven success in B2B sales , preferably in building materials , trusses, or construction-related industries. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings , blueprints, and specifications. Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude. Technically savvy with the ability to learn and explain product specs and benefits. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and timelines. Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel. Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field is a plus—but experience and drive go a long way.
Why Join Us:
Be part of a respected brand with years of industry trust . Uncapped commission potential + base salary. Supportive culture that values your ideas, hustle, and results. Ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow your career. If you're ready to sell smart, deliver value, and be a trusted partner in the construction space, we want to meet you.
