Job Description

Medical Equipment Company - Buffalo Grove, IL$30-$35/hour | 90-Day Contract with Potential for Full-Time Established medical equipment company with 15 years in business is seeking a smart, resourceful, and business-minded individual to work directly with the owner on several important growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role in a small-business environment. We are looking for someone who can take a defined objective, figure out what needs to be done, identify practical and cost-effective resources, and help drive the project across the finish line. Initial 90-Day Focus The first 90 days will center on several specific priorities: Help complete and launch the company's new website, coordinating with independent developers and other resources as needed. Develop professional sales and marketing materials for our primary customer groups. Build out our reseller program and supporting materials for equipment restoration, depot repair, and refurbished equipment sales. Help organize the tools, messaging, and processes needed to support a new Illinois sales representative. Research vendors, partners, and solutions and make practical recommendations based on quality, cost, and business value. Work directly with the owner to keep projects organized, moving, and completed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is resourceful, cost-conscious, organized, and able to work independently. This is a small business, so success requires someone who is comfortable finding practical solutions rather than simply outsourcing projects to large agencies or expensive vendors. The right person should be able to research an unfamiliar problem, evaluate options, communicate with vendors and partners, make recommendations, and follow through on execution. Strong communication, research, organization, and problem-solving skills are important. Experience in business development, marketing, sales, project coordination, or a related area is preferred. Medical equipment experience is helpful but not required. Opportunity This is initially a 90-day contract position with clear objectives and deliverables. For the right person, there is an opportunity to develop into a broader full-time business development role based on performance and business needs.
