at Insight Global in Frankfort, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships that generate new fire suppression, special hazards, service, inspection, and installation opportunities. This individual will own the sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and project turnover. The organization has dedicated project management support, allowing the Sales Executive to focus on winning business, maintaining customer relationships, and growing strategic accounts. The ideal candidate has an established network within the fire protection, industrial, construction, or building services industry and understands how to leverage relationships to generate new business. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow relationships with end users, general contractors, engineers, and fire sprinkler contractors.
  • Generate new opportunities within fire suppression, clean agent, and special hazards markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Conduct customer meetings, onsite visits, lunches, networking events, and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for new installations, inspections, service contracts, and system upgrades.
  • Prepare project estimates and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts in partnership with legal and internal leadership teams.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with customers after project award to drive repeat business.
  • Coordinate project handoff to Project Management after contracts are executed.
  • Manage and grow an active sales pipeline while achieving annual revenue and gross margin goals.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, project management, and leadership teams on customer solutions. $120,000 to $200,000 OTE
  • Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

  • Minimum 3+ years of business development, account management, or sales experience
  • Experience selling within one of the following industries: o Fire Protection o Fire Suppression o Fire Sprinkler Systems o Fire Alarm Systems o Industrial Safety o Commercial Construction o Related Building Services
  • Proven success building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Stable work history with demonstrated tenure (preferably 3+ years per employer)
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience conducting in-person customer meetings and presentations
  • Ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
  • Experience negotiating contracts and coordinating internal resources
