INDUSTRIAL SALES PROFESSIONAL WHO KNOWS THEIR WAY AROUND A MANUFACTURING PLANT?
Regional Sales Representative | Industrial Gearing & Power Transmission You know how to open doors. You're comfortable walking into a manufacturing plant, talking with maintenance, engineering and plant leadership, and figuring out where you can help. And you understand industrial equipment well enough to have a technical conversation. That combination is what we're looking for.THIS IS A SALES ROLE
Your job is to develop business, build relationships and grow the territory. You'll spend significant time in the field visiting manufacturers, mills, plants and other industrial operations. You'll identify opportunities involving:- Custom gearing and gearboxes
- Gearbox rebuilds and repairs
- Replacement gears and spare parts
- Reverse engineering
- Power transmission equipment
- Engineering and field support You'll work closely with internal engineering and manufacturing teams when an application requires deeper technical expertise.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
First and foremost, you need to know how to sell. You should be comfortable prospecting for new business, developing a territory, getting meetings, asking good questions and building long-term customer relationships. Direct gear experience is valuable, but we're also interested in sales professionals with backgrounds in:- Gearboxes and gearing
- Bearings
- Motors and drives
- Pumps and rotating equipment
- Power transmission
- Industrial maintenance and reliability products
- Other engineered industrial equipment You don't need to be the engineer in the room.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll represent a long-established industrial manufacturer serving heavy manufacturing, steel, mining, oil and gas, power generation, marine, rail, defense and other demanding industrial markets. This is a remote-based regional position with significant customer travel.
