This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible sales role, build on an established customer base, and become the face of a respected company in the process equipment industry. You'll sell custom process equipment solutions including solvent recovery systems, media mills, tank washers, tote washers, mixing systems, and other engineered equipment used across the coatings, paint, chemical, and industrial manufacturing industries. What You'll Do Manage and grow relationships with established customers while developing new business Follow up on warm inbound leads, referrals, dormant accounts, and customer inquiries Identify customer process challenges and recommend custom equipment solutions Build relationships with Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers, Process Engineers, and Operations Leaders Develop proposals and pricing for custom equipment Manage opportunities and customer activity through CRM tools Partner with engineering and operations to develop solutions that meet customer requirements Travel up to 25% throughout North America, typically including day trips or trips of no more than three days You'll spend your first several months working directly alongside a retiring team member to learn the products, customers, sales process, and technical aspects of the business. What We're Looking For 2-3+ years of experience in customer service, technical sales, inside sales, account management, business development, applications engineering, or a related manufacturing environment Experience with technical products, OEM equipment, industrial equipment, custom machinery, engineered products, or process solutions A natural curiosity and genuine desire to understand customers and solve problems Persistence and patience to manage 6-12 month sales cycles Comfortable building relationships with hands-on, blue-collar customers and industrial decision-makers Self-motivated, personable, and comfortable following up consistently
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, ERP/quoting and CRM experience.
