This position offers a high-profile sales opportunity where you will serve as the primary representative for our brand, nurturing a long-standing client base within the process equipment sector. Your focus will be on providing bespoke process equipment solutions, such as media mills, solvent recovery units, mixing systems, tote and tank washers, and other specialized machinery utilized within the chemical, paint, coatings, and industrial manufacturing fields. Your Responsibilities Cultivate and expand existing client partnerships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Ensure timely follow-ups on incoming inquiries, referrals, dormant accounts, and warm leads to drive revenue growth. Analyze specific client process hurdles to propose tailored equipment configurations that solve their operational needs. Foster strong connections with key stakeholders, including Operations Leaders, Process Engineers, Maintenance Managers, and Plant Managers. Draft comprehensive equipment proposals and establish pricing structures for custom projects. Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and manage the sales pipeline effectively. Collaborate closely with internal operations and engineering teams to ensure final solutions align with client specifications. Conduct regional travel across North America for up to 25% of your time, typically involving short-duration trips. During your initial months, you will receive dedicated mentorship from a departing team member to master our technical offerings, sales methodologies, and client relationships. Our Requirements Possess 2 to 3+ years of professional experience in technical sales, account management, business development, inside sales, customer service, or related industrial manufacturing roles. Demonstrate a background working with custom machinery, OEM equipment, engineered products, or technical process solutions. Exhibit a genuine interest in learning about client operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Show the tenacity and long-term focus required to navigate sales cycles lasting between 6 and 12 months. Maintain the ability to connect effectively with industrial decision-makers and hands-on, blue-collar professionals. Display a self-starting attitude, a personable demeanor, and a consistent approach to follow-up tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, alongside proficiency in CRM and ERP quoting systems.Backgrounds of Interest:
