Full-Time About Zubaz Zubaz is an iconic sports lifestyle brand known for our bold prints and authentic fan gear. We're expanding our retail presence and looking for a dynamic sales professional to drive growth in key market segments. Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow our presence in NCAA college stores, small NFL team shops, and major retail chains. This role combines relationship management, new business development, and strategic account oversight to expand Zubaz's footprint in the sports retail market.Key Responsibilities Account Management:
Manage day-to-day relationships with NCAA college bookstores and small NFL team shops Serve as primary point of contact for existing retail accounts Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and reorder needs Develop strategies to increase sales and product placement within existing accountsNew Vendor Development:
Lead onboarding process for major retail partners including Target, Walmart, and Kohl's Navigate vendor registration, compliance requirements, and system integrations Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers and category managers Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional opportunitiesSales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new retail opportunities in the NCAA and NFL markets Present product lines and seasonal collections to buyers Create tailored proposals and presentations for prospective accounts Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets andKPIs Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers Conduct regular business reviews with major accounts Resolve issues and address concerns promptly and professionally Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless account supportQualifications Required:
3+ years of sales experience in retail, sports apparel, or licensed merchandise Proven track record of managing retail accounts and meeting sales goals Experience with vendor onboarding processes for major retailers (Target, Walmart, Kohl's, etc.) Strong understanding of NCAA and/or NFL retail environments Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace Ability to travel as needed for account visits and trade shows (approximately 20-30%)Preferred:
Existing relationships with NCAA bookstores or NFL team shops Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems Knowledge of sports licensing and merchandising Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldJob Type:
