Job Description
We are looking for a Carrier Sales Rep who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and a strong communicator. This role will be based in our Lake Zurich office. A fast-paced, competitive, and team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end execution of assigned freight, from tender through delivery. Source, negotiate rates, book, and coordinate carriers to cover customer freight. Track shipments and proactively address delays, service issues, or exceptions. Communicate with customers and carriers regarding load status and requirements. Ensure accurate load details, documentation, and system updates. Support account performance by maintaining service levels and operational consistency. Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability. Assist team with overflow freight coverage. Support onboarding of new customers and carriers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations experience. Strong understanding of load execution, carrier sourcing, and shipment tracking. Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. High school diploma required.
