A Sales Consultant promotes and sells products or services on behalf of a company, and develops strategies to increase sales. Recruits new clients and builds relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers. Works with company sales staff to increase product knowledge and develop marketing strategies. May travel to meet with clients, generate new sales and maintain contact with customers.
The Senior Living Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales and occupancy at our senior living community by assisting potential residents and their families in navigating their choices. This role involves building relationships, understanding prospective residents' needs, presenting community offerings, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach:
Develop and implement strategies for generating leads, including community outreach, marketing efforts, and partnerships with local hospitals, doctors, and community organizations. Maintain an active presence in the community to raise awareness and interest in the facility. Respond to inquiries, provide information, and conduct tours of the senior living community.
Sales & Closing:
Conduct in-depth needs assessments with prospective residents and families to understand their desires, preferences, and care needs. Present tailored community offerings, including amenities, services, and available units, to meet specific needs. Effectively communicate the benefits of the community and facilitate the decision-making process.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong, trusting relationships with prospective residents and their families. Provide compassionate and empathetic support throughout the decision-making and move-in process. Follow up with potential clients who are not yet ready to commit, providing additional information or support as needed.
Marketing and Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to help develop promotional materials and strategies for attracting new residents. Coordinate and host community events, tours, and open houses to promote the facility.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the customer relationship management system. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on progress, goals, and strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the senior living, healthcare, or real estate sectors.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work in a team environment and independently manage time and tasks effectively. Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
