Job Description
Job description: Serenity is seeking a Business Development Rep to lead our nationwide growth strategy. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in leading our expansion efforts by identifying, evaluating, and executing expansion opportunities that align with our mission to be a leader in the home care industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, deep insight into the home care sector, and exceptional negotiation and communication skills to navigate complex deals and ensure seamless post-acquisition integration Key Responsibilities •
Market Research & Expansion Analysis:
○ Conduct market research including demographics, payer mix, home care demand, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape. ○ Prepare market feasibility assessments and expansion recommendations. ○ Analyze trends, Medicaid/waiver program opportunities, and state reimbursement environments. ○ Identify partnerships and referral sources . •Expansion Planning & Project Coordination:
○ Coordinate expansion workflows from research through launch. ○ Maintain project tracking systems and timelines. ○ Facilitate communication across internal departments. ○ Prepare expansion briefings and leadership updates. •Licensing, Compliance & Regulatory Coordination:
○ Assist with state licensing, Medicaid enrollments, NPIs, and registrations. ○ Track renewals, audits, and approval timelines. Organize documentation for regulatory submissions •Finance & Strategic Support:
○ Interpret market data to generate profitability forecasts and support strategic budget planning. ○ Track expansion-related expenses.Skills :
•Financial Acumen :
You must have in-depth knowledge of financial analysis and modeling, including valuation and deal structuring. •Industry Knowledge :
Demonstrated expertise in identifying high-growth territories and conducting strategic market analysis to support home care expansion into untapped markets. Skilled in uncovering competitive gaps and implementing growth strategies to scale operations and increase market share •Negotiation & Communication :
Proven negotiation and communication skills are critical, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. •Strategic Thinking :
You must be a strategic thinker, capable of assessing complex business opportunities and mitigating risks effectively.Experience :
A minimum of 1-3years of experience in market research & expansion , private equity, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience within the home care.Education :
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.Travel & Logistics :
This role requires the ability to travel nationwide for due diligence, negotiations, and integration activities. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record are also requirePay:
