Job Description

About
UMAS UMAS
Inc. is a trusted home care services provider dedicated to helping seniors and adults with disabilities live safely and independently in their own homes. We work closely with families, care coordinators, and community partners to deliver compassionate, reliable in-home support through programs such as the Illinois Department on Aging Community Care Program (CCP). About the Role We're looking for a motivated, people-first Sales Representative who understands the home care and senior services world and knows how to turn a warm conversation into a new client. This is not a cold-calling role. Our marketing team provides a steady flow of qualified, inbound leads. Your job is to connect with them quickly, understand their needs, guide them through their options, and close. If you've worked in community care, home care, or adult day care and you're great on the phone, we want to talk to you. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to inbound leads provided by the marketing team via phone, text, and email. Conduct needs-based phone conversations with seniors, family members, and caregivers to understand care needs and eligibility. Clearly explain UMAS services, the Community Care Program, and the enrollment process in simple, reassuring language. Guide prospective clients through intake and enrollment steps, coordinating with the intake and care coordination teams. Follow up consistently with leads until they enroll or are closed out. Meet or exceed monthly enrollment and conversion targets. Accurately track all calls, follow-ups, and lead status in our CRM. Build positive relationships with Care Coordination Units (CCUs), case managers, and referral partners when needed. Share feedback with the marketing team on lead quality and common client questions to improve campaigns. Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in home care, the Community Care Program (CCP), adult day care, senior services, or a related healthcare/social services setting. Proven phone sales, intake, or enrollment experience with a track record of converting leads. Strong working knowledge of how CCP, home care services, and/or adult day services work, including eligibility and referral processes. Excellent verbal communication skills with a warm, patient, and confident phone presence. Ability to handle sensitive conversations with seniors and families with empathy and professionalism. Organized and self-motivated, with strong follow-up habits. Comfortable using a CRM, email, and basic computer tools.
Preferred Qualifications Bilingual strongly preferred:
fluency in English plus Spanish, Hindi, or Gujarati. Experience working with Illinois Department on Aging programs and Care Coordination Units. Background in Medicaid waiver programs or managed care. Existing relationships with local referral sources in the senior care community. What Success Looks Like Leads are contacted quickly, ideally within the same business day. Families feel heard, informed, and confident choosing UMAS. Consistent monthly enrollments that meet or exceed targets.
