Sales Account Manager (Sales Representative)
Location :
Northeast Indiana (Allen, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adam, Grant, Blackford, Jay, & Miami counties) Reports to: Director of Sales/Store Manager Due to a promotion within the organization, we are seeking an experienced sales account manager to backfill our territory. Since 1965, RPM Machinery has grown to become a leading construction equipment dealership in Indiana. Product lines such as Case, Hyundai, Toro, Avante, Ventrac, Rayco, and Morbark are sold and supported throughout our 4 Indiana locations. Job Summary To aggressively promote the sale of new and used construction equipment along with rental, parts, and service. Customer recognition of our total product lines and support services for all makes. The focus of the Sales Account Manager is to 1) Aggressively cover our existing customer base along with prospecting new customers with the emphasis of increasing market share of full line products. 2) Expand our customer base by exploring any and all opportunities through our rental, service, and parts departments. 3) Continuing education through our vendor portals to stay up-to-date on any and all changes. Job Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date call records in the company CRM software. Up-to-date is keeping daily records of calls made, names, phone numbers, email addresses, and all other pertinent customer information. Implement short-term and long-term goals associated with the growth of current customer base as well as new customers. Maintain an up-to-date follow up calendar in CRM to ensure appropriate customer coverage as set forth in the territory plan Complete and exceed the appropriate time commitments for all necessary paperwork, i.e. quotes, call reports, CRM pipeline, invoices, etc… Collaborate with all essential team members to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Collaborate with Sales Manager, Parts Manager, Service Manager, Rental Manager, and other reps for joint sales calls as needed. Assist in the development, implementation, and distribution of marketing programs Address customer complaints with immediacy and seek opportunities for a positive encounter. Employ time management tools to effectively meet company and personal initiatives. Attend periodic training sessions to improve product knowledge and salesmanship abilities. Meet training goals as established by the company as it pertains to this position. Serve as a resource/advisor/consultant for your customers. Must engage in continual prospecting behavior Effectively communicate with Leadership Other duties as assigned consistent with the position
