Job description Inside Sales Professional Lafayette Interior Fashions is an independent, family-owned company, proudly serving the industry for over 75 years. As a leading manufacturer of custom window coverings, we offer a wide selection of blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and more, all custom-crafted in the USA. Being a wholesaler selling to high-end retailers, we are looking for the right individual to join our team.
This position involves the following:
Works within a team concept in conjunction with our outside Territory Managers. Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services. Handles inbound sales lead calls. Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers. Provides product demos to qualified customers on request via internet tools. Coordinates customer training. Builds and maintains customer relationships. Prepares reports of business transactions. Maintains CRM system to centralize customer data. Investigates and resolves customer problems and concerns. Expected to meet or exceed quarterly and annual performance targets. Coordinates with Marketing and Sales to determine an essential, strategic approach to accounts and assigned territories. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: Prior experience in selling custom products to retail accounts, including franchisees. A proven ability to build customer partnerships by servicing existing, low-volume accounts and an aggressive approach to establishing new accounts. The ability to learn quickly, solve problems, maintain a solution-oriented mindset, stay well organized, and work effectively with people of diverse personality styles. Comfort with utilizing technology.
