Hiring Agency Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet | Kentucky Department of Parks Location 501 E Stephen Foster Avenue Bardstown, KY 40004 USA Description We are excited to share an excellent opportunity to begin your career with Kentucky State Parks while working with our sales team at a beautiful historic park located in Bardstown, Kentucky. We are currently accepting applications for a Group Sales Coordinator position at My Old Kentucky Home State Park. This position performs duties as a Group Sales Coordinator and works with other Group Sales Coordinators in our sales and events department. A candidate with the appropriate experience and education will assist and lead the booking of events, weddings, meetings, and tours at our picturesque property. This position requires a motivated individual that will serve as a "hands-on" member of the team, and someone that enjoys working with guest and clients and has exceptional customer service. (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 20 years and one day of age at time of employment. Applicants for employment with the Kentucky State Resort Parks must obtain S.T.A.R. (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of employment. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials. Working Conditions Work is typically performed in an office setting. Travel will be required to conduct outside sales calls. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided inKRS 18A.111.
