Role Overview:

This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, assisting with plan-o-gram implementation, and providing excellent customer service. The role also requires operating registers, handling cash transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting store setup and organization.

Responsibilities:

Unload trucks and stock merchandise following company procedures. Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide superior service. Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and maintain register area. Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure safety standards. Support opening and closing store operations under supervision. In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, and monitor security practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures. Ability to operate cash registers and adhere to safety policies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of merchandise presentation and plan-o-gram adherence. High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred.
