What You'll Do Welcome customers and learn about their style, space, budget and furniture needs Recommend furniture and accessories that fit each customer's home Create and present design solutions based on customer preferences and living spaces Conduct in-home consultations when needed, including measuring and assessing the space Develop strong product knowledge and stay current on promotions and new merchandise Follow up with customers regarding purchases, product arrivals, promotions and future needs Build repeat and referral business through outstanding customer service Work toward individual and store sales goals What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer-service skills A positive, professional attitude Motivation to achieve sales goals Ability to build relationships and follow up with customers Interest in furniture, home décor or interior design Previous sales, retail, customer-service or design experience is a plus, but not required Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and some holidays
