Company Description The Don Franklin Family of Dealerships is a long-established automotive group serving Central Kentucky with 26 locations and over 5,000 vehicles in stock daily. With more than 56 years in the automotive business, the Franklin family has built a strong reputation for customer service and community presence. Dealerships span from Burkesville Chevrolet GMC in Southern Kentucky to Franklin Family Chevrolet Buick in Bardstown, extending across cities such as Columbia, Corbin, Elizabethtown, Glasgow, Radcliff, Somerset, Russell Springs, London, Campbellsville, Monticello, Nicholasville, and Lexington. Team members join a large, multi-location organization that offers diverse career paths and exposure to a wide range of brands and customers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based at our Glasgow, KY location. The Sales Representative will greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process, including presenting features, benefits, and pricing options. Daily responsibilities include conducting test drives, preparing and reviewing purchase documents, and coordinating with finance and management teams to complete sales. The role also involves following up with leads, maintaining ongoing customer relationships, and using dealership tools and systems to track activity and meet sales goals. Sales Representatives are expected to uphold dealership standards for professionalism, customer satisfaction, and ethical sales practices. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships. Effective communication and active listening skills, including clear verbal presentation and professional phone and email etiquette. Basic sales skills such as prospecting, negotiating, closing, and handling objections in a customer-focused manner. Comfort using computers and dealership systems, including CRM tools, inventory systems, and digital document platforms. Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customers, follow-ups, and daily tasks efficiently. Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, in a fast-paced retail automotive environment. High school diploma or equivalent; prior automotive or retail sales experience is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
