Apprentice Business Development Representative (BDR) Advantum Health, a technology-driven healthcare revenue cycle management company based in Louisville, KY, has an open positions for Apprentice Business Development Representative to join our fast-paced, collaborative and agile work environment. Job Summary The Apprentice Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for supporting the sales and business development teams in identifying and qualifying potential leads. Your role involves researching prospective clients, building initial relationships through outreach, and generating interest in the company's products or services. This entry-level position offers a hands-on opportunity to learn sales strategies, market analysis, and client communication while contributing to the overall growth of the organization. You will work closely with experienced team members to develop skills and gain exposure to various aspects of the business development process. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and independently when needed. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage. Strong research skills with attention to detail. Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Identify and qualify new business opportunities. Allow field reps to focus on active opportunities by managing initial outreach. Use scripted discovery questions to gather insights on competitors and market trends. Meticulously document all call details in the CRM system. Test new messaging and methods with prospective customers. Provide feedback to refine go-to-market messaging for field reps. Execute call campaigns to set up meetings for trade shows. Encourage prospects to attend webinars, listen to podcasts, or download white papers/case studies. Follow a structured calling plan with clear instructions on who to call and what to say. Measure daily calls, weekly lead generation, and other key activities. Track leads from BDR to sales rep and demonstrate their impact on pipeline growth. Receive continuous direction and feedback to improve performance. Other duties as assigned
