Group Sales & Community Outreach Specialist Maui's Family Entertainment Center, Owensboro, KY Job Type :

Evenings and weekends required for community events and client meetings

18 years Job Summary At Maui's Indoor Family Entertainment Center, we create memorable experiences for families and groups. We are seeking a Group Sales & Community Outreach Specialist to help expand our presence in the Owensboro community. This role is perfect for someone outgoing and motivated, who enjoys connecting with schools, businesses, churches, and local organizations, driving group sales through relationship-building and outreach, and representing Maui's as a trusted community partner. What You'll Do Community-Focused Sales & Business Development Proactively reach out to local schools, businesses, churches, and community organizations to promote Maui's as the go-to destination for group events Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and facility tours to showcase group event options and party packages Generate, manage, and follow up on new leads to book corporate events, fundraisers, field trips, and other group outings Maintain organized tracking of all leads, communications, and opportunities to ensure a seamless sales process Relationship Building & Community Engagement Build and nurture positive, long-term relationships with community leaders, educators, and business contacts Represent Maui's at local networking events, festivals, expos, and community programs Support sponsorships and partnerships that increase brand awareness and drive repeat business Support & Collaboration Assist with selected promotional initiatives and community events as needed Share insights and ideas to help expand community outreach and grow group sales Work collaboratively with park teams to ensure outstanding guest experiences during events Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in outside sales, business development, outreach, customer service, or event coordination Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging groups and community contacts Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences Comfortable working evenings and weekends Preferred Experience Experience in hospitality, entertainment, tourism, or event sales Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Experience with CRM systems or sales tracking tools Why Work at Maui's Competitive pay + uncapped commission, giving top performers the ability to significantly increase total earnings Networking opportunities - Work closely with schools, businesses, and community organizations Fun, active work environment - Join a team passionate about family entertainment and guest experiences Keywords Group Sales, Outside Sales, Community Outreach, Event Sales, Business Development, Local Sales Specialist, Client Relationship, Party & Event Sales, Entertainment Sales, School Partnerships, Corporate Events
