Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, results‑driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Morgan City industrial supply team. You will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, actively responding to calls, emails, and in-person interactions. This role focuses on providing knowledgeable advice, preparing quotes, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full‑time, on‑site role ideal for individuals passionate about industrial products and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound inquiries . Efficiently manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in customers. Build customer relationships . Foster strong, lasting relationships through responsive and proactive service. Provide expert product guidance . Advise customers about cutting tools, PPE, hydraulics, and other MRO items. Prepare accurate quotes . Generate timely and precise quotes using Prophet 21 software. Process orders and manage documentation . Ensure accurate and swift entry of sales orders and returns. Collaborate internally . Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and other teams to guarantee prompt and accurate service. Achieve sales goals . Meet or exceed defined sales and customer satisfaction metrics.
On-Call :
Participation in the on-call schedule is required. What You Bring A minimum of 2 years of inside or counter-sales experience in industrial supply, MRO distribution, or oilfield services preferred but not required Knowledge of Gulf Coast industries such as oil and gas, fabrication yards, shipyards, construction, and agriculture. Ability to interpret specifications and recommend appropriate products. Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems; Prophet 21 experience is advantageous. Strong communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or GED required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory for on-call purposes.

Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (hours may fluctuate between these hours)
