910 Royal Street, New Orleans, LA Frank Relle Gallery is seeking someone who cares about art, enjoys talking with people, and brings a generous spirit to the gallery experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys welcoming visitors, asking thoughtful questions, and creating genuine conversations about travel, photography, New Orleans, and Louisiana culture. You should be curious, attentive, and comfortable listening for what interests people, while also recognizing opportunities to guide interested visitors toward collecting artwork. You will speak with visitors about Frank Relle's photographic techniques, the locations where the images were made, and the stories behind the work. A natural enthusiasm for New Orleans, Louisiana, art, and storytelling will be a strong fit. This position is not only about creating meaningful in-person experiences, but also about building long-term relationships with collectors through thoughtful follow-up communication. A successful candidate will be motivated by sales, comfortable tracking leads and client conversations in HubSpot CRM, and proactive about following up with visitors by email in a personal and attentive way. This role requires someone who enjoys both the relational side of gallery work and the discipline of relationship-based sales, including converting interest into artwork sales over time. The position requires motivation, resilience, and the ability to stay engaged during gallery hours while maintaining thoughtful and consistent client follow-up communication. You should be comfortable facilitating sales transactions, maintaining organized CRM records, and balancing in-gallery conversations with ongoing collector outreach. You will use Google Drive, Gmail, and HubSpot for digital communication and follow-up. Hours Shifts include evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Compensation Compensation includes hourly pay plus significant sales commission opportunities. Benefits Paid time off and health insurance. Required Education Bachelor's degree.
