Key Responsibilities:

-Customer Service

• Greet Customers promptly; identify needs for residential and commercial projects.
• Answer product, pricing, availability, and application questions; provide substitutions and alternatives when items are out of stock.
• Handle phone and email inquiries; route complex requests to inside/outside sales as needed. Must be able to work hand in hand with outside sales.
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. -Sales and order processing
• Prepare quotes and convert them to sales orders; schedule pickup or delivery.
• Accurately enter orders, returns (RMAs), and credits in the POS/ERP system.
• Cross-sell complementary products (fasteners, adhesives, flashing, underlayment, tools, PPE) -Transactions and documentation
• Maintain accurate customer notes, back-orders, and special-order paperwork. -Product and inventory support
• Maintain strong product knowledge across lumber, roofing, siding, drywall, insulation, concrete/masonry, doors/windows, hardware, and specialty items.
• Check on-hand quantities; coordinate will-calls; communicate ETA on backorders.
• Create and pick counter tickets; stage orders; ensure correct SKU, unit of measure and quantities.
• Flag low-stock and fast-moving items; support cycle counts and inventory adjustments.

Pay will depend on experience. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Product Knowledge of Construction and Building Materials is wanted but not required . Hours of Operation Mon-Fri 7:00am - 4:30pm Expected hours: 48.0 per week
