Novotech, Inc. is an exciting and growing company in the electro-optics industry. We manufacture products for the thermal imaging and infrared optical industries. At Novotech, we specialize in germanium blanks and optical components which are used by our customers in electro-optic and photonic devices. Novotech is a job shop and manufactured products are always changing.
Job Description:
Novotech is currently hiring sales representative. The incumbent will be responsible for developing new leads and communicating with customers. The incumbent will focus on ensuring customer satisfaction from quote to order fulfillment. To be successful in this role, one should be able to quickly build a rapport with our customers. This role involves some travel, including but not limited to attendance at trade shows, and visiting customer locations. Essential Functions Respond to all customer inquiries, questions, and RFQ's Develop system for following up on quotes to identify likelihood of order Understand customers' needs and communicate to production team to ensure satisfaction Setup and host customer and vendor visits via zoom, and/or in person Daily meeting with production manager, operations manager, engineering to review any open quotes and/or order fulfillment concerns Enter quotes and sales orders into ERP system (ProfitKey®), ensuring accuracy Maintain major sales analysis and any custom report as requested Prepare weekly posts for social media sites (LinkedIn etc.) Attend trade shows as requested (US Locations) Some travel to customer locations in the US Maintain database integrity within ProfitKey® ERP Software Maintain a database of current and potential customers with CRM Review technical drawings for manufacturability with the support of engineering as needed Education - Associate's degree in business administration, applied science or engineering Experience Details Technical sales support and/or officer administrator role in manufacturing - 1 year preferred Customer service experience High working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office suite applications Proven and effective communication and listening skills Knowledge of optical component features a plus Familiarity with infrared optical materials, including optical and mechanical properties Novotech will conduct background and driving record checks on candidates prior to making an offer of employment. $51,613.59 - $60,000.00 per year
