Generator Sales Estimator Job Summary/Objective:

• To promote and adhere to company performance expectations through positive and consistent customer interaction.
• The Generator Sales Estimator must be able to balance and prioritize work and ensure quality production output.
• The Generator Sales Estimator reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
• This position is based in the Mashpee, MA location.

The Generator Sales Estimator is responsible for meeting company performance expectations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining positive interactions with customers and team members. This role requires the ability to prioritize responsibilities, maintain accuracy and productivity, support accounting functions, and effectively collaborate across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as directed.

These KPI's include but may not be limited to:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Meet with homeowners at their homes to discuss their backup power needs
• Evaluate the property and determine the appropriate generator solution
• Review electrical service, fuel source, generator location, and installation requirements
• Take measurements and gather information needed to prepare accurate estimates
• Prepare professional generator estimates using an iPad
• Explain generator options, installation requirements, warranties, and available services to customers
• Answer basic customer questions and provide knowledgeable, professional guidance
• Follow up with customers regarding estimates and proposals
• Communicate installation requirements and project details with the office and installation team
• Maintain accurate customer and project information
• Represent RCA Electric & Generators professionally in the community
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in company systems.
• Collaborate with Service, Installation, and Customer Experience teams to maximize service agreement penetration and customer retention.
• Consistently achieve established sales, renewal, and retention goals.
• Identify and help support process improvement opportunities/efforts.
• Update customer information in Company's ERP system as needed.
• Work with all departments to meet customer needs.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting in a timely manner.
• Participate in meetings, as directed.
• Report areas of concern to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• A.S. or B.A. in Business, Marketing, Sales preferred, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Employment background in Customer Experience, Service, Sales, or related field (Preferred) Experience as an Electrician or related trade. (Preferred)
• Preference may be given to candidates with experience in the skilled trade field.
• Must consistently demonstrate a customer-centric attitude.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently to support the Company's stated goals.
• Exceptional communication skills. (Written, verbal)
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure that customer expectations are met.
• Ability to work cooperatively across all functional areas, strong interpersonal skills.

Reading and legible writing of the English language is essential for this position. Consistent demonstration of a positive attitude, with the ability to always remain professional and courteous. Must be able to prioritize, organize work, manage time, and work unsupervised. Keen sense of urgency and attention to details.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment, while remaining agile.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Licenses N/A Work Conditions/Environment:

While in the office, the employee will work in a well-lit environment and will be exposed to low levels of noise, with a temperate climate and shall operate office equipment. While in the warehouse, the employee will work in a well-lit environment and will be exposed to moderate noise levels, cool, or elevated temperatures, dust, fumes or smells, chemicals, and moving mechanical equipment.

Must be able to read and write in the English Language. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days will be Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
