What you'll be doing day to day Overseeing the daily operations of the Sales floor team to secure a consistent product range presentation and customer shopping experience. Provides a great IKEA shopping and brand experience to drive repeat visitation to the IKEA store by maintaining store merchandising standards and ensuring a great meeting with the customer. Oversees the daily operations of the sales floor team in order to secure a consistent range presentation and customer shopping experience through ensuring a flexible, competent, and knowledgeable work force. Hires, onboards and trains co-workers. Directs the overall selection, onboarding, coaching and development of co-workers. Creates individual development plans to secure succession. Manages resource planning, co-worker relations issues and performance and delegates responsibilities. Drives sales by ensuring co-workers have the product knowledge, IKEA Concept tools, resources and home furnishing expertise to actively sell and meet commercial review standards. Monitors and follows up on sales, supply, customer insights, and customer-centric KPIs to understand opportunities to improve. Secures Sales Location Management (SLM) to ensure the optimal ASSQ is in place to meet the customer, and has the products available at all times for the customer shopping experience to thrive. Secures execution of the commercial calendar, strategies and workbriefs by partnering with necessary stakeholders. Secures planning and implementation of activities and add-ons throughout entire store and works with the ComCal and the Com&In team. Handles issues raised by customers and co-workers in a positive and quick manner. Together as a team We are the ones meeting our customers

Experience leading and developing people, preferably in a retail environment. Experience in customer service, problem-solving and conflict handling techniques.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, slide, or transfer (26-50 lbs) frequently. Must be able to stand, walk, talk, type, reach, hear, see, twist more than 46% of the time. The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 27.51 USD to 38 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
