ABOUT EMPIRE DOJO
Empire Dojo is a premier martial arts school in Abingdon, Maryland, offering authentic Japanese Kobudo and youth development programs. We are not a franchise and we are not a belt factory. We are a real martial arts school with a passionate community and a mission to develop disciplined, confident, and capable human beings. We are growing, and we are looking for someone who can help us continue that growth.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is not a front desk position . We are looking for a motivated, confident Sales Representative who will take ownership of the sales process from the moment a lead comes in until they become a member. You will be responsible for following up with leads, conducting enrollment consultations, closing new memberships, handling program upgrades, and helping families understand the value of what Empire Dojo offers. If you enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and winning through sales , this could be a great opportunity for you.
WHAT YOU WILL DOSALES & ENROLLMENT
Follow up with new leads by phone, text, and email Conduct consultations and introductory class follow-ups Present membership and program options Close new student enrollments Handle membership upgrades and program transitions Follow up with prospects who have not yet enrolled Maintain accurate lead and sales information in our CRM Meet and exceed monthly sales and enrollment goals
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Build strong relationships with prospective and current families Help new members understand our programs and next steps Identify opportunities for student upgrades and additional programs Provide a professional and welcoming experience for every prospect
TEAM SUPPORT
Work closely with instructors and management to ensure leads are properly followed up Communicate sales activity and results to management Participate in special events, open houses, and community marketing activities
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday:
4:00 PM-9:00 PM Some weekends will be required for special events, open houses, seminars, and other promotional activities. Approximately 25 hours per week.
COMPENSATION
$23/hour + Performance Bonuses & Incentives Your earning potential increases based on your performance.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident and comfortable asking for the sale Highly motivated and goal-oriented Professional phone, text, and email communication Reliable and dependable Able to work independently and follow a structured sales process Comfortable working with both adults and parents of children
STRONGLY PREFERRED
Previous sales experience Membership sales experience Experience in martial arts, fitness, dance, cheer, or another membership-based business Experience using a CRM or lead management system

You enjoy talking to people and building relationships You are motivated by goals and numbers You don't get uncomfortable when it's time to ask for the sale You follow up relentlessly without being pushy You take ownership of your results You believe martial arts can genuinely change people's lives Martial arts experience is not required . We can teach you our programs. We are looking for someone who knows how to connect with people and sell.
