Lynx Emissions is a fast-growing diesel emissions company serving commercial and industrial clients across North America. We clean and restore diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and sell the parts and products fleets and diesel repair shops rely on to keep trucks compliant and on the road. We're not a desk-based sales team. We hit the pavement, walk into shops, and talk directly to the people doing the work. About the
Role:
We're hiring a Territory Sales Representative who thrives in face-to-face sales. This role is about daily outbound activity: visiting diesel repair shops, fleets, and commercial customers throughout the Detroit metro area to generate leads, close deals, and build lasting relationships. You'll walk into businesses, introduce our services, answer questions, and win business on the spot. This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires high energy, grit, and the ability to build trust quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
Walk into businesses daily (cold and warm visits) to promote Lynx Emissions' services and products Develop and grow a customer base across your assigned territory Understand client needs and match them with the right services or parts Track your sales activity using CRM tools and submit timely follow-ups Follow up on leads from Inside Sales and respond to inbound customer needs Attend regional sales meetings, training sessions, and occasional trade shows Required Experience & Skills 2+ years of face-to-face B2B sales experience (preferably field-based) Background selling into trade, industrial, or automotive sectors Excellent interpersonal and closing skills Self-motivated and comfortable planning your own route and daily activity CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Nice to Have Experience selling in industries like diesel service, aftermarket parts, or industrial equipment Familiarity with diesel engine systems, filters, or emission components
